God Bless Dandy Don and his family. I read his site every day and I'm gonna miss him. There was no truer Tiger fan than Dandy Don and it was certainly fitting that LSU honored him earlier this year at The Box. I was happy to see that and he deserved it, IMO. He bled purple & gold and there was never any doubt he loved his Fightin' Tigers. RIP Don.
He was truly a kind man and a tiger fan through and through. I'm sure his wife was waiting for him at heavens gates.....I've always enjoyed reading his website. RIP Mr Long and god bless your family.

I have a massive amount of respect for Dandy Don and the Long family. I know how badly the loss of his wife affected him and there is no doubt that they are together again. Prayers go out to the family.
DD has been my home page for many years. He was a true Tiger fan to the core. Sorry to see him go, but I'm very glad he got to see the return of great LSU football before he did. Best wishes to his family and friends and thanks for all the time put in trying to keep us information starved Tiger fans updated on Tiger news.
