Smart would scare the hell out of me since another defensive protege' of Saban was a total bomb out as a Head Coach. (Muschamp) Would prefer somebody that's "Been There-Done That" with success as a Head Coach.

Not sure, but I think with his "employment history" he is at least smart enough to look around and see what
works in today's game.........and what does not. I would have no problems with LM if he would only admit "his way" may not be the best way. The answer is not to go out and get "old coaches" that have been fired multiple times and let them once again do the samething but expect different results.

I don't think LSU needs to "blow up" the program. However, the last two games should show that progress is not being made on multiple fronts. In the case of the defense, it has gotten alot worse. They need to drop all refernece to "DB U" until someone figures out what needs to be done in the secondar.

I definitely don't want Kirby Smart. I have zero confidence in his abilities at all. It is Saban's D they are running, and it is crazy to think that a control freak like Saban isn't the one making the game plan and most of the in-game adjustments.

saban was interviewed before our game with them and said he lets smart do his own thing and call his own game. saying he knows what needs to be done. i was floored but it was definitely made it clear KS has autonomy.

If this is a fantasy thread, I'd just prefer we take the entire Alabama Coaching staff and add Coach O......I've been a Miles supporter and I firmly believe he's a good man but that doesn't always win football games. It's time for a change, just not sure who.
