I never was a fan of the spread, but I'm ready for anything that isn't what we've had for the last 11 years. I don't care what you call it. I want an offense where the QB can read a defense. One where every play doesn't look like one big cluster phuck. One where suggesting a forward pass isn't considered blasphemy. I want an offense that makes the opposition prepare the week before instead of covering what they need to do in a 10 minute meeting. Is it too much to.ask that they keep the defense honest? Maybe they could even disguise plays by formation instead of telegraphing them. If that's a gimmick offense then sign me up, I want one!

I know. I was being a bit tounge in cheek but the guy did have a third string QB ready to play well enough to win the NC

I'd consider him in the same breath as Fisher, but I hear what you're saying. If it was my call, I might go with Fisher as well. Cost would also factor in. Not sure I'd want to pay fisher the top salary in the nation.

O heard an interview with Herman a couple of weeks ago. He said he put the MENSA thing in his resume when he was young and looking for a job and now he's stuck with it. He seemed a bit embarrassed

So were the whiny little girls that were busy crying when we had to evacuate the clogged sewer pipe cabin. The non-mensa girls laughed and had a great time helping each other pack and carry their things. The mensa girls were bawling.

I overheard them talking on a trail. "We'll at least we're smart. The other girls in our cabin get by on being cute." Okay...

That has proven nothing except he can run someone else's offense and can win for less than a season at Houston.

Good one...I don't think those little girls had hit puberty yet. I know my 60-pound, "cute" daughter hasn't. :D

He would be a huge risk, I agree. We have no idea if he can competently run a college program, and I hardly even count Houston as a major college program.

If Alleva was going to show his hand, he better have Fisher wrapped up. If not, he's made a huge mistake.

We don't even know if anyone is going to be interested in our job or not. Coaches may look at our unsupportive, throw-you-under-the-bus AD and say no, thanks.
