It would be great for UT, not so great for LSU. Why would we go after a coach that is failing miserably at a place like UT which has one of if not the best recruiting bases in the nation. I don't care who doesn't support him at UT, he should be able to have much better success than he is having based on recruiting and assistant salaries alone.

 

I disagree. He won for several years at a place like Louisville. UT's cupboard was bare, and the politics are too much for anyone not named Saban. He'd recruit well and win here, imo.​

 

By the Houston Texans guy we're certainly not thinking about Bill O'Brien are we? He won't leave (Maryland has tried and tried) and he is certainly not going to be fired. He has the same problem in Houston as he would in Baton Rouge. Who the F do we play at QB.

I do agree, we cannot afford to lose those 2 guys but we need someone to smack Steele in the head. Not a lot of Harvard scholars on defense. KISS - keep it simple stupid.

 

Texas is still pissed at A & M for leaving and the SEC in general for first taking Arkansas out of the SWC and causing it to cave and then removing their arch rival. I can't imagine any game with Texas unless it is in a bowl.

Most of the Big 12 schools are pissed at the SEC for totally disrupting the conference.

 

The Eagles lost to Tampa Bay 45-17. Chip Kelly might be looking for a place to land.
