Here's the thing, we need a defensive minded head coach. A defensive minded HC doesn't have a problem going out and getting an offensive guru to handle the O. Plus in order to win the SEC on a regular basis you have to have a dominant defense. Sure a great offense wins it every now and then on a fluke, but the dominant D wins the SEC.
He never won more than 9 games, but he beat OU twice. Basically that's what got him hired, the 2 wins over OU. Shane can tell you more about him.
i know this is true but when breaking up with coaches you always look for the things you were lacking with the prior coach. so im guessing we are going with a head coach-oc.
