I'll buy that argument to an extent. Just hard to stomach someone who is so publicly unrepentant. Wouldn't have wanted Johnny college football either.

Johnny 8ball was never accused of anything criminal. Just an entitled, spoiled rich kid with a lot of talent

Here's where I am on Miles might go : If he wins out reg season . He stays. If he splits, you give him definite must do list for next season or he's gone. That will hurt recruiting but current atmosphere ain't helping either. If he loses both- adios. This seems fair. UNLESS - it's guaranteed Jimbo wants to come here -then I don't care if Les changes water into wine at halftime and gets me freaky sex with Kate Upton. Ditch his ass.

If he can give me freaky sex with Kate Upton I'd give him a lifetime contract

I think Smart has autonomy only on Saturdays calling the defense. It's definitely Saban's defense, played his way and with him coming up with the majority of the weekly gameplan. Now Smart may be good and smart enough to replicate that defense at another place, but he hasn't done it without Saban holding his hand yet.

He didn't do well in the NFL but was an excellent college coach. Rutgers has never come close to bringing in the big time talent it did when Schiano was there.

I lost all respect for that dude when he was with Tampa. A real tool.
