ASU! Vontaze Burfick is some phenomenon to watch! Born of a high impact, high speed collision between Fairley & Mathieu, with the ghost of Butkus whispering in his ear, "I never set out to hurt anybody, unless it was really important, like a league game or something."
I'm a bigger fan than he is... he's kinda learned not to call during the game because I pay more attention to the game than the conversation, I have a tendency to yell when LSU scores, makes a great offensive, defensive and/or special teams play. Trying to talk him through clicking on plainly labeled links/buttons at a website - usually taking an HOUR or more - is quite frustrating when the TIGERS are on the field! Actually if *anyone* calls during a game I don't answer. Heck when he's home, before the first quarter is over with he goes out to mess with his boat and fishing stuff and listen to the game on the radio because I'm yelling at the tv.... especially last year.
I find this to be ridiculous although common for day games. The season is so short I couldn't imagine not being engrossed in every minute of it.
Yes - this - We only have a few games a year - I won't miss one if I can possibly help it. Every game counts as "1" regardless of its "importance" or entertainment value. Any Tiger football is better than watching Rocky & Bullwinkle reruns on a Saturday morning!
If this were Tenn., UGA or So. Car, it would be a whole lot different.... But Kentucky? Late morning? I'm not surprised.
I'm up...and dressed...and ready...but not too damn happy about a freaking morning game. Screw this stupid BS! Morning & afternoon games should be reserved for weak conferences and Ole Miss.
Up and ready here in the Texas thicket, too, with pit smokin', flags on the front porch and Tiger tunes drawin' rude looks from my Aggie neighbors. Welcome to the SEC, goat doctors! :geauxtige
