I still think that Jamarcus was the most gifted QB to ever walk into Tiger stadium for any team.

I am one that just cannot see in any way how anyone can have a problem with anything he did here.

    thank you.

it's amazing how bad the NFL is swinging and missing here. We have so many people here who know so much more than the 32 team's scouts do.

People questioned Jesus so it's not real hard to imagine them questioning Russell. :D

Here is an article that addresses what Kiffen is trying to do with JR.

``We had go routes on both sides, depending on their coverage,'' Russell said. ``We did it so much at practice, checking the ball down, that it's better than the deep ball sometimes, letting the backs break a few tackles, get a first down or a big run. We kind of forced that into my head, and I'm just kind of living by that right now.''

He was something like 26-4 as a starter.

my whole thing is: Russell Sheppard.

If I told you right now he would be 26-4 as a starter. Would you take it?

You all would . . . or should anyway.

Russell was just unlucky. Had USC lost to a 30-point underdog at home and had WVU lost to a 30-point underdog the seasons he was here, too, he'd have won it also.

the stars just never aligned his way the years he was here.

Those that questioned Jesus, never saw him turn the water into wine.

Those that question JR saw him hit the 60 yard bombs in triple coverage with 1 second on the clock and the game on the line, then cursed him for not hitting the back who was wide open and letting him try to run it in.

Thank you! 26-4. I didn't have the time to look it up, but I tried to think of games that we lost when he started...and knew there weren't many.

JR never led LSU to a :crystal:

Flynn, more mobile and with a better grasp of the playbook, did take LSU to a title, even so with some incredible luck.

Who will they remember in 20 years?

If Hatch can play within Crowton's game plan and show that "gamer" attitude and performance that he showed in the Spring game, we'll be fine.

Give me a decent QB that doesn't throw away the big games with killer mistakes. I'll take him every time over a "mixed bag" all world arm like JR.

...Probably Jamarcus after a long and successful NFL career.

Honestly, I didn't think Jamarcus was that bad...who knew?
