This is an underrated virtue in a coach.

What is he guilty of, other than having a big ego?

Let's say he plays 5 more years, then retires.

By the time he will be up for the Hall, the Eagles junk will be 13 years old and long forgotten.

We live in a short-term memory society.

Tell me the headline story 13 years ago in the sports world. you can't. I can't either.

EDIT: make a thread for this in pro sports. This is an LSU thread. :)

TO is REALLY cleaning up his image in Dallas, and he's actually becoming a fan favorite. If the Boys win the Super Bowl this year (and watching Hard Knocks last night showed a team on a mission), TO will have a major monkey off his back. He's taking this training camp very seriously.

He's cleaned up his act BIG TIME, lots of positive PR in Dallas. The Super Bowl comes this year.

I'm not a fan, but TO will be a 1st ballot HOF. The stats are just too good. Add that to the great name recognition and lack of a criminal record. He's a damn good player.

I think Scott is the best blocker or the three when protecting the quarterback. That's essential with young quarterbacks. Vincent and Hester got more playing time because they were good at protecting the quarterback.

    great point

I hope Murphy gets better at blocking in max protect, since he will be the best option to catch the ball out of the backfield.....i.e., I would like to see Murphy be our 3rd down back, ala Joe Addai

I had a busy day moving back to BR for good, but today was a swing-pass day.

    Defending and covering it.

They worked at length on it and looked great.
