I've always thought of myself as team reflection. My analogy was merely the measuring stick.

And Arenas has a career that so far mirrors that. I'm not calling Arenas or Mingo a bust, he just has a particular skill set that needs to be exploited by a good team with needs. Hate the guy didn't get the chance with the Bills, but that's life in these NFL camps.

Alabama is probably going to lose to Ole Miss this year.

    P&G_wheelz007 Football anyone?

The injury to La'Couture will hurt us later in the season when another D-Lineman has to miss significant time with an injury. Then we'll be minus 2. And so forth.

But I am actually more concerned about the OLine. I think our defense will be scary good this year. Last year's OLine was good until Bama-Ole Miss-Arkansas.

Nice try. Also, not an analogy.

Doesn't matter. Just keep moving, that's the strategy.

You know I don't follow the NFL from any other viewpoint than cursory, at best. I didn't even know Arenas was still in the league, much less he was kept on an active roster for four of his six years after college. I had to look it up.

I did that on the average career of an NFL corner as well and according to statista it's 2.9 years. Seems he's done better than most.
