I think what's being labeled as hypocrisy is simply the messy part of politics. I don't like to witness it, either. But ever has it been so.

I don't hear anyone seriously suggesting Reid should step down from his leadership position or resign from the Senate. Certainly I haven't. I do hear people saying they hope he does not get re-elected. I concur.

 

FOX is not ultra-conservative. It is mainstream conservative. While I would certainly consider Coulter and Beck ultra-conservatives, news commentators, analysts and journalists such as Chris Wallace, Brent Hume, Greta Van Susteren, Bret Baeir, Charles Kraulthammer and Bill O'Reilly are far more representative of the kind of conservatism found on Fox.

but if i had said that i guess i'd have a point. pelosi is the speaker. and i dont remember pelosi scaring the moderate voters away from a moderate GOP prez candidate
