that is another point i have wondered about all season. Has or Str/Cond regiment changed? It just seems like we are a little weak on the lines.

:geaux: It certainly didn't help. No way they should have called that incomplete when he clearly had the ball and his foot in bounds. Could have given us some momentum at a critical point in the game and made the outcome much more in doubt, especially if LSU had went down and got some sort of score. Oh well, stuff happened.:nope: :LSU231:

Fair point. But at the beginning of the game, Eugene was doing it against Maze and #7 was on the field. I guess I am just not a big fan of the soft coverage.

The refs didn't have anything to do with our offense being confused almost every other play.

The refs had nothing to do with our pre-snap penalties, and Graff hitting the Punter.

The refs had nothing to do with the play of our Quarterbacks.

Alabama will NOT beat Florida because their QB isn't very good either.

We have been doing it all year.

Remember the Washington game? Things didn't change THAT much. That is why all week we heard Bama was going to try and air it out.

Chavis blitzed a little more and played tight man as the year went on. He did it today too. However, Bama's first TD came off a 6-man blitz, leaving no one with any help if they need it. Suddenly, the softness came.

Well, if you guys can't do it by yourselves, we won't put you in that position anymore. By this point, however, the Mark Ingram show had started.

It's sad to see LSU's D go from great to OK so very quickly. One wonders if we'll ever again see a D as dominating as the 2003 National Champs.

I suppose the answer is yes. Check out the Georgia Dome on Saturday, December 5th. You'll see two such dominant D's.

I think they should have had Jai Eugene in the game and on Jones with Peterson out. You cannot put a safety one on one with no help on Jones. Eugene would have made that tackle much less Peterson. Brandon Taylor bless him, but he took a bad angle and was chipped. The entire game calls were missed. Someone needs to find the still shot of the divet in the ground where Peterson drug his foot.

Disagree that the defense failed. The defense gave LSU a chance to win more than twice.

I do not normally focus on the refs, but they denied LSU a chance to win the ballgame in this instance. I'm not talking about anything else but the interception, although there was more.

I didn't have the Tigers winning this one anyway. But it's disappointing to see the team leave it out on the field like they did and have the refs be such a HUGE player in the outcome of such a critical game.

Biggest concern right now is the health of Jefferson, Scott and Peterson. Need them back for Ole Miss and Arky.

I hope not, but it certainly looked like Scott had a broken collarbone.

Exactly. Blame it on the refs (who were terrible, I agree), but the LSU defense did absolutely nothing to hold Bama on that first drive of the second half, which set the pace for the rest of the game.

And can we all agree that Jarrett Lee is a miserable QB? Nothing was on target. The last pass of the game epitomizes Jarrett Lee.
