Look, Miles can't make the passes and tackles and blocks for his terrible players who are nationally respected but overrated recruits. Miles isn't even the one coaching them these things. Just stop criticizing Miles. You are embarrassing yourselves. Maybe next year. Anyway, it's not like there are any coaches out there who compare to Miles. No one compares, to you...
Isn't it Miles job to know if a player is "overrated" or not? You're being sarcastic...sorry. I'm not up to speed on who is a minion w/out the avatar pic. Maybe your not? I'm confused.
The overall attitude and swagger of the team is a direct result of the head coach. YOU are embarrassing yourself with this ignorant post!
Miles and staff do their own evaluations, they don't use the recruiting services for that. If their recuits are overrated, they are the ones that dropped the ball.
What kind of tea are you actually sipping over there ...didnt think LA legalized the green cross tea yet......like last weeks game I got some glimpses but the coaching absolutely f it up ..for instance run run run then out and what about the confusing calls that cuased all the penalties at the end? every time the hawg qb was on the sideline he was being coached with the playbook and diagrams (watch the replay) THATS coaching by being prepared not waiting to call the plays at the last minute...better coaching =better wins watch the FU game again the kids were prepared btw GEAUX TIGERS
Let's be honest here. The last 3/4 years in recruiting defensive linemen and linebackers has been a total failure. Valentine bust, Garrett bust, Herron bust, LMFAO bust, Bain bust, Gilmore bust, Mickey Johnson bust, Quentin Thomas bust, Duke Riley bust, Bower not as advertised, Clark too early to tell. Alexander and Hunter were really good, Jones wasn't highly rated but has been good, Beckwith has lived up to his ranking, and so has Godchaux, and I think Key will be a good one. Now Steele has tried to mitigate by playing mostly in the nickel due to the talent in the defensive backfield, but against powerful teams in the trenches you are going to get abused and we have seen that 2 weeks in a row against teams with powerful offensive lines, tight ends, and tailbacks. No depth means no rotation, no offense leaves them on the field too long and by the 4th the defense is roached. Sadly I think this is it boys and girls, what we are seeing is the decline that started in 2012. You have the most skill you have ever had at wide receiver and tailback in the past 4 years and all we got to show for it is this lousy t shirt.
It's good that Chavis is gone. Unfortunately, it will take how many recruiting cycles to get the right personnel? Chavis and his undersized bullshit has really hurt this team. Hope he does the same and more to A&M.
I would call Kwon very good, but Hunter could have been so much more. I'd have loved to have seen him develop under O. I fully agree with the premise of the post though. LSU missed out on far too many DL and LB's. THe ones that did come were either not as good as billed or it's fully on the lack of coaching. LSU also passed on Dak.
