EXTREME SUMMARY!!! This thread is for those that are either too busy to read threads, or for Bama flamers that are curious about our take on the game.
Players have got to take responsibility of the penalties. Please DO NOT call out the coaches. This is pretty bad form:angryfire
You are dealing with a team, though athletically gifted, with varied personalities, TEMPERAMENT,MENTAL CAPACITIES/TOUGHNESS and INDIVIDUAL STRENTHS AND WEAKNESSES. Can't figure out how your comments are valid.
Come on man! We all know you're an emotional Tiger fan, just calm down a bit. We won. We have A LOT of work that needs to be done, and Miles acknowledged that tonight. CLM may be slow to realize these types of things, but hopefully he'll learn his lesson this time. I won't disagree that we need to work on a lot, but enjoy the win! :thumb:
See, I personally thought that was ridiculous. You can't tell me LSU was that much more undisciplined than Bama. 14 penalties to 2 is just refs being flag-happy IMO. It doesn't excuse LSU's discipline, but at least TRY to call an even game. Bama should have had a few more penalties that weren't called. LSU had a few that were iffy.
I have to agree that this team is very undisciplined. They keep making the same mistakes over and over. I don't understand it though. The first 4 games of the year, LSU played near perfect ball. No turnovers, few penalties, and no dropped passes. Then we run into the powerhouse known as Tulane, and we go backwards. Since then it's been all downhill. The ONLY close game LSU should have been in was Florida. UK, AU, and Bama should have been blow-outs. We DOMINATED the line-of-scrimmage tonight. But we tried to lose it again. I thought the off-week was gonna do us some good, but i guess not. And to respond to an earlier post, STUPID PENALTIES are a result of being undisciplined and that is due to coaching. The INTs (Flynn) and the drops are on the players.
