When you can bomb two largely populated cities with mostly civilians and be held in high regard for ending the war, you know your country's morals are fucked. Thats what we did. It was a hard, but necessary choice to make. We could have easily taken out military targets. Those bombs forced reflection. It forced capitulation. The middle is in no way close to capitulation. They only way is death. Its vial, its mean, but its war. If you believe in American values and everyone is equal and free then you have NO room to support Muslim culture in its current state. They haven't changed in thousands of years.
if you want the 10% to behave put more pressure on the 90% than they currently receive form the 10%. then the 90% will get rid of the 10% for us. It is exactly what occurred after we dropped the nukes on japan, it forced the hand of the emperor... we probably don't need to drop nukes on these guys but we can sure go after the cities that harbor them and not just with pin prick attacks like we do now... we are so afraid of offending anyone we just shrug our shoulders and say what can be done all the while little girls at concerts get ripped apart. btw, i read an article out of London today that stated the UK is happy with its current anti terrorism programs...that is just unbelievable.
