Every other ethnic group that has ever come to America wanted to assimilate and be Americans. Irish, Germans, Italians, Polish, even Mexicans want to live the American dream. Even black people who were brought here against their will. Not Muslims though. They would rather stay in the 7th Century
I could post links showing Muslims have assimilated very well into America, 2.5 million of them, and they don't cause much trouble here. Different story in Europe where I believe any kind of immigrant is generally despised.
You are just failing to understand the core of their religion. Have you seen this by chance? I've posted it here before This is just one but I can assure you there are millions many many millions that feel the same way
