    ULL - W - by at least 14 points
    MSU - W - by at least 10 points
    UGA - L - by 10 points
    UF - L - by at least 20 points
    Auburn - L - by 3 points or less (toss up) W or L
    Tulane - W - by 20 points
    Alabama - L - by at least 10 points
    Louisiana Tech - W - win by 7 points
Ole Miss - L - by at least 14 points
    Ark - L - by 10 points

Based on what we've seen so far, this is the prediction. I agree with some of the national pundits that say we are overrated at # 7 and # 9 respectively. We are. We will be hyped up to about # 5 in the country and UF will have their way.

We seem to be missing the inspirational leaders on this team like Mauck, Flynn, Dorsey, etc. Add on top of it our O line and D line is young and not impressing.

We will call it 7-5 for the regular season. Does this officially put Miles on the hot seat?

Why so positive? My expectations are a little better. I think 3 in the L column will be a max.

I think a 7-win season is the worse-case scenario. And, yeah, a 7-win season this year would be hot seat, and if we don't improve on that over the next two seasons... yeah, we will have new coaches.

By your predictions we would finish the season with 6 defeats. Where does 7-5 come from? I think you should step away from the ledge. Everything will be alright. Stop wishing for the next coach. It's not always better.

    Count your Ws and Ls.

You have 6 Ls for LSU and only 4 more Ws.

    7 points over LaTech????

hat the hell are you smoking out there on the Left Coast?

Not wishing for the next coach. I like Miles. He is honest, hard working and seems to really care about our school. That said I think we have a tough road. I hope to be wrong but this is easily a 4 loss year and possibly as many as 6. I want to be wrong but we seem to be missing, "It".

Arkansas has yet to play a 1-A school, yet they will beat us by 10 points?

Yeah, we are overrated at #7/9, but here are 10-15.

    Boise St.
    Ohio State
    OU
    VT
    Georgia Tech

Boise St could only score 19 on Oregon.
Ohio St. is very hard to rate, but they choked away the USC game after nearly losing to Navy.... at home.
OU is better than LSU, they just lost their Heisman QB
VT is not better than LSU
Georgia Tech sure as hell isn't better than LSU

Then you get to Oklahoma St, who got routed by Houston... and a whole bunch of other teams who haven't proven anything.

Just because LSU hasn't blown up the college football world, that doesn't mean that everyone else has.

Georgia has looked beyond terrible in their first two games.
UF's O-line struggled with Troy. Yeah, you probably didn't watch that, but it happened.
Auburn was only beating LA Tech by 3 at halftime.
Similarly, Bama was only up on FIU by 6 at the half.
Ole Miss certainly didn't wow me playing Memphis last week.

Final scores are overrated, but way to go man.

You are probably one of those guys who need LSU to win by 60 every game and yearn for Saban to come back.

Just curious, but are these predictions based on your observations of other teams play thus far, or solely on your dissatisfaction with LSU? If you're claiming it's the former, I'd like to know where you caught some of those SEC games that those of us in the southeast couldn't even get. You're blinded by your disapproval of Miles, and that can't be hidden by throwing out the perfunctory "I like Miles."

Look, I'm just as sorry as you that LSU didn't win the First Two Weeks of the Football Season National Championship. We'll just go ahead and burn all of our redshirts in hopes of finding that 'it' factor in one of the true freshman so we can have a better shot at the title next year under our new coach, who my sources tell me is an absolute BEAST in the first two weeks. In fact, he's earned the nickname "Mr. September" in many circles. After all, since college football teams have no chance of improving as the season progresses, all that matters are the first two weeks, right?

If I were you I'd lay off the purple and gold cool aid and quit looking at everything through those purple and gold glasses..

I guess we'd lose the bowl game to Kansas State too. (6-7) by your reckoning.:nope:.
