    I agree with this.

Last year Bama could pass, but it got shut down in the NC game.

They relied on their D and O'line to win them the game.

I dont think anyone of us thought that LSU would win it all this year, but compared to last year, if QB issues are our only problem, I will take that any day!

Another benefit I think will continue to show itself, as the offense continues to morph into a tough running team with excellent kicking, you can watch the defense reflect that same conservative approach. They get extra stingy because of their conservative style of play.

A good football team feeds on each others strength. Bama defense practices everyday against a very straight forward, physical team. The defense reflects that as well.

Almost without exception these pass happy spread offenses seem to always come with their own spread defense. Your watching a fast improving LSU defense take the approach that points are precious. Ask Vandy and Miss St. they'll tell you they didn't get anything cheap.

the truth is that guys like Saban and CLM will out last the spread

it's on it's way out and OSU Bama LSU and the ole ball coach SC now

are leading the way back to power football that is hard to beat

great D line play and very few turn-overs - I for one love it

If we can do a better job and establish the run early, then it will open up our passing game and give JJ some confidence.

We are sputtering offensively in the early part of every game and seem to gather momentum late....110 yards per game passing and 203 yards per game running isn't going to cut it through the rest of the SEC games. I would really love to see this power running game wear down the opposing defense early and then I think we'll see the kind of production we are hoping for.
