Tiger Fans, Why do we continue to question the passion or commentment of coaches, players, and other fans, at any point, but especially when we are 4-0. Some fans expect nothing less than a 13-0 season and another national championship with little to no competition from the opponent. Some fans expect an 8-4 season with a potential bowl when as a result of the lack of experience at the quarterback position. Who is wrong? Neither !!! It's your expectation. But it is wrong when you apply your expectation to others and expect their viewpoint to be the same as yours. Enjoy the ride, the highs and lows, the great plays (Chad Jones +++), and the not-so great ones, debate an specific call, BUT always Remember; We are all TIGERS and everyone else is TIGERBAIT!
I don't know of anyone on this board that has expressed this. What is expected is playing and coaching to one's ability. That's not to say that there won't be days where things just don't come together they way it was planned. That's not to say that a team of inferior talent can't have a great day and take a team like LSU to the limit. Great teams find a way to win and LSU has done that. But they have also played four, count 'em, four subpar games. Each game contained flashes of what LSU should be but it is hard to understand why this team isn't playing better. That isn't being a negative Nancy, it's wanting the best for LSU, it's wanting these players to be in the best position to play to the best of their abilities, it's wanting these guys to get the props that they deserve, it's wanting these guys to see a big reward for all the hard work they have put in. I predicted this years team would finish 9-3. That's still realistic but they have to step it up to avoid another five loss conference year. We all love LSU and wanting the best for this program, its coaches, fans, and players both current and future. I want these guys to play their way into Sunday afternoon millions. :geauxtige
Give it time. This team has speed, athleticism, and talent across the board. The schedule is rugged, but this team has a lot of potential that hasn't shown itself yet. We beat Georgia on the road and we will be coming along just fine.
I expect much better play based on the kids we have recruited the past 4 years. That's my perspective. Welcome to the board.
Confused? Georgia on the road was last year. We have had the talent across the board for the last decade now. All we need is a group of coaches that knows what to do with it.
On this site so much, you have gotten to lazy to type back the same arguments? Thats funny! I will check your time stamps in future. However, please update them to be relavant to today.
