OK, I will remember all this crap when Tigers are laid out on field against Ole Miss and Ark. with cramps in the 2nd quarter. IF Moffit is soooooooooooo good why dont we see it on the field? dont just tell me how great he is,answer this. Why is Bama that much stronger than LSU? Why wasnt Bama suffering from injuries and cramps? Same question for the UF game. I promise you that for the past 2 years in the big games you will see the same cramping and knicking problems. Mabe it isnt Moffet but their is a problem somewhere.
FYI, Both Moffit and Bama S&C coach are products of Gayle Hatch here in Baton Rouge. Hatch has always said that Moffit is the best coach to come out of their program. Moffit also helped develop Bama's S&C coach.
Dan, did you ever play the game? At any level beyond your back yard? Didn't think so. Congratulations, though - you just made my ignore list! :geaux:
pssssttt, before you keep digging your hole. moffit trains our athletes on strength, speed, and endurance. that's strength and conditioning. the training staff deals with injury prevention and treatment. the training staff and S & C are two different things. cramps are a hydration issue, things that team managers do if i'm not mistaken.
The crap about firing the coach/coaches has nothing to do with LSU losing a game, but has more to do with the not so smart calls called during the game. 1. Going for the punt block in the 4th quarter when we are down by 6? 2. Using our second half time outs to avoid 5 yard penalties. 3. Wasting Shepard's freshman year instead of red shirting him. Atleast have some confidence in him to be the back-up qb instead of pick 6 Lee.
I used to think so, but unless you call the obvious weakness of both lines at LSU a "strength" perhaps there is something to look at. I happen to know another S&C coach that even Nick Saban while he was at LSU was very familiar with..........note, he does not work for LSU nor has he.:geaux:
