There was no showboating, no taunting, no excessive celebration whatever you what to call it by Wing. Now when PP7 did the Heisman pose (which was great) in the endzone that was def a penalty.

I lurk more than I post, and if you think that was a horsecollar then you don't know the rules. Try googling it.

This penalty reminds me of the other stupid call against us years back.

We were defending a field goal or an extra point (can't remember which). The opposing team MISSED the kick, but we were flagged for climbing up on the back of another player. They got to kick it over and made the kick.

I don't think I've ever seen that call made against a team since then - and I'll be this will be the same.

Auburn game and it cost us the game or a chance at winning it

We lost 10-9, should have been an OT 9-9 game.

+1 - He did the crime by the rule.

Remember what Supreme Court Justice Potter Steward said about porn "I know it when I see it" - same thing applies to this rule; and that's the problem. You can't really define porn in a written law, and you can't really define taunting in a written rule. The refs make judgment calls all the time but it’s a judgment call against a hard fact. Was he in or out? Was the knee down or not? Did the ball cross the goal post inside or outside of the upright?

This is a squishy rule and it’s only a matter of time before it blows up an important game. I appreciate what the rule is designed to do but it needs drastic changing.

If you watch Wing's run in real time you can't even really *see* the quick 'flash' outward of his hands/arms (of course the ref was right there); it's only on the replay with the speed slowed down (judging by other folks 'movements' in the clip) that it looks like taunting (at least to me). But a rule is a rule. I expect to see a lot of this at the Bama game (but I doubt Bama will be called for it).

He's on the best team in CFB. Negated or not, he blew past the entire FL D and made them look High School while he did it!!!

Imagine FL watching the tapes of that one--over and over and over again.

    ...and the ref clipped 'em.

btw. Those white 'stockings' he wears... look like 'surgical' or 'diabetes' stockings.

    Yep - That's the one.

Seems that LSU gets its share of "weird" calls that never get called again.
