Throw all the crowd noise and home field advantage stuff out the window. Neither one of these teams cares about where this game is taking place. LSU is all the more pumped with the opportunity to beat bama at home just as bama would be at LSU. You seem to forget that we beat bama last year. Yes, it is a different year. It's still the same group of guys though. It could go either way. And spare me the greatest defense talk. They are both outstanding. We beat you with no offense last year. We beat you again this year with a greatly improved passing game and power running game. AJ throws a couple picks. Tigers win. P.S.- hope you like starting drives from within your 10 all night long. Come back and visit us after the game
As bad as we were offensively in 2009 and as great as bama was, we STILL hung with them at THEIR house until the end. And I don't even need to mention the good fortune that the tide needed to pull away. So yeah, BDS? Not intimidated in the least.
This article is great. I remember the Sooner team that "Big Game Stoops" brought into the '03 NC game in New Orleans. This team was supposedly the very best college team of all time. A lot of people including the press really believed their own fairy tales. OU already had a nice new cabinet built for their upcoming Championship trophy. I believe the outcome of this game will be about the same. Geaux Tigers.....LSU 21, Tide 13
Making it bold doesn't make it right. MooU uses artificial noise enhancers. They are louder. Stop being a homer. You're minimizing the effect special teams will play on the game. As I would do if I were you because there's a significant gap between the two teams. Punting will pin Bama down in the endzone more than once in the game. The same cant be said for LSU. That's a game changer. The simplest way to explain what I'm saying is: the team that makes the least mistakes wins. Your QB is a NEW game manager. His lack of experience will hurt Bama. To think otherwise is crazy. Qbs go through growing pains. We both know both teams will need to throw to be successful and i like LSUs chances a lot better with passing. Nick can coach as disciplined as he wants, doesn't matter when LSU strips a ball. You can't coach instincts and LSUs DBs make turnovers happen.
I near said Bama won't adjust. Tappy predicts LSU won't even score a TD. I find that really silly because far lesser teams have scored on Bama already.
What a bullchit article, I read the first 3 lines and enough. I hope that was posted up in the locker room.
Except that Lonergan isn't injured and hasn't been for three weeks now. Also, an O-Line isn't evaluated on how good the individuals are, but how they play as a group. Worst case, the two teams are pretty much equal at that position. There really isn't a discernible difference between the two. Also, the Bama DB's are definitely not better than LSU's DBs. Outside of Hightower and Kirkpatrick, there isn't a player among them that would start for LSU. Even then, Hightower would share reps. He also is of the opinion that Tharold Simon is Morris Claiborne's backup and dismisses him as such. Tide fans should remember Simon from last year as the freshman who made a ****load of plays as they avoided Patrick Peterson. He caught a game or two and then scanned the depth chart from a website like Yahoo Sports or Rivals...
