That and garbage yards. LSU has given up a lot more garbage score as well. LSU has given up 21 (actually 28, but I'll give Oregon a legit on 1 TD in the 4th) junk points in the 4th quarter. Bama has given up just 8 points in the 4th ... even when they have the team squarely beat. I mean .. really .. what's the point.
This is wrong. LSU has played in the loudest stadium already. MooU with artificial noise enhancers. The best secondary? You mean the one that Florida scored a TD pass on on the first play of the game? If you believe Bama's D is unstopable you're going to be shocked. They've been exposed by lesser teams already. The game changer is going to be special teams and turnovers. LSU wins both hands down, easily. The ONLY way Bama is in this game is if LSU makes mistakes. That's not impossible, but I'd be willing to bet your QB makes more mistake than ours.
That article is garbage! He'll change his tune after Saturday night! This is the same knucklehead that picked K-state to beat OU! Everyone in the world knew that OU was gonna make a statement in that game after coming off a loss! But of course the bammer homers think he's the greatest ever! Geaux Tigers!
- Not how I see it at all... Special teams will determine field position a lot of the time, but I feel like our offense and defense will do enough to maintain that. As for turnovers, Nick Saban coaches a disciplined, fundamentally sound team. Our QB is an excellent game manager, and our RB's don't put the ball on the ground. I see this game coming down to who is the more physical, balanced team as the game wears down.
Bama always adjusts. Bad things that happen to them early in games never happen a second time. LSU will have to adjust as well as the game goes on because Bama will stop what's working for us.
No, I think what you mean here is that until it ranks BDS as the greatest venue ever, then it's not going to be accurate. Again, this ain't our first test this season in a harsh environment. And ask yourself, if JL couldn't hear over the crowd noise at WVU or MSU, what difference does it make if BDS is any louder (even though it's a proven fact that it isn't)? If you already can't hear, then any noise level above that simply doesn't matter. This is a really simple concept, and it shouldn't be giving you this much trouble. You should really be more concerned about your own QB in this situation. Sure, it's at home, but he's never faced anything even remotely approaching the type of game pressure that he'll have to endure Saturday. Meanwhile, our guys have seen and done it all. They are veterans, and have experience in high-pressure situations. They've had ups, downs, all arounds. They've had to pick themselves back up after failures, and had to learn how to win without it going to their heads. LSU has a very real and clear advantage at QB. Hey, it ain't my fault if the facts are on my side, bud.
Tappy has revealed himself to be the type of poster who will come here and gloat all over the place if bama somehow wins this game, and he will simply disappear if they lose. Worlds apart from a guy like Tusk. How tragic....
