he was gunned down Saturday night in New Orleans by a guy Tyrann Mathieu knew. Mathieu had nothing nice to say about him, calling him a coward that he never knew would grow up to be a killer. http://lsu.247sports.com/Bolt/Tyrann-Mathieu-tweets-about-man-who-killed-Will-Smith-44733887
Prayers to the family and friends of Will Smith. Will truly be missed! btw..sounds like Tyrann has done a lot of growing up.
http://lsu.247sports.com/Bolt/Surve...oments-before-shooting-of-Will-Smith-44765996 Where does this fat ass thug Hayes get the money to buy a HumV? The dude is obviously a dealer. And he has a weapon, prob was already a felon. His lawyer is trying to say Smith was killed because of a hit and run.
I am not up to date but the word going around that Hayes won a civil case vs the state for the shooting of his father by the NOPD in the streets a few years before this incident.
cbs sports radio reported late yesterday that smith had lunch earlier in the day with a retired nopd policeman who was involved in the father's shooting....strange coincidence
I heard that...the guy he ate with was formed NOPD commander. Not sure if that was the connection or if he was also at the scene of the shooting as well.
The civil case info is correct. Interesting about the lunch meeting. I wonder if the shooter was following him, still holding a grudge?
The dinner pic with the NOPD commander, Smith, and Pierre Thomas was taken the same evening as the murder.
The former cop was a person named in the wrongful death suit about Hayes father. After retiring from NOPD he worked security for the Saints for a time. Hayes and Smith likely knew each other because Hayes had also worked security for the Saints. We probably will never know what really happened and why.
The incident appeared to have happened because Smith had tapped his back bumper just a mile up the street before the tragic encounter, and Smith is seen on camera veering around the Hummer in what was essentially a hit and run.
