You're right, they weren't. But CLM did bring them from 4 win seasons to 8 win seasons(minus the first, which is understandable) and he was able to beat OU. I'd call that successful. And people in Oklahoma still hate Miles for leaving, so there's that too

Haha maybe I got a lil carried away. But things could not have turned out better. Saban is a great coach but CLM is an outstanding person and I'm happy that he has the keys to out Program. I think when its all said and done he would go down as a legendary coach.

It's no secret that Saban is a cold hearted bastard that will win at any cost. He could give two sh*ts about his players, no matter what program, as long as he wins to cement his legacy. He and Bama are a match made in Hell. Dirtiest program in history found their groom. Cheers!:hihi:

lsn't it funny that 100 people can read that article and all 100 can walk away with take on what was written. what I see is that "Saban was at James’ bedside at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday and found him “fine, talking” and eager to return to practice.".. Now does that really sound like a"cold hearted bastard"?

yeah that article wasnt incriminating at all. Just an account of what happened and some quotes from Saban about monitoring James and the team or whatever. Not much there

Nick is a no nonsense coach and kind of a dick. He always was, even at LSU. His players respected him, but they did not love him. He was forgiven because he wins. It is no different at Bama.
