I'm sure everyone will be glad when this thread is dead and gone. However Coach Saban is not showing the same pattern at Alabama as in previous stops. The tiresome voice you speak about doesn't show the least for ware these past three years among the players. The best players are leaving in three or four years as is, so player burnout doesn't seem a issue. The core talent will make it harder for less talented teams to upset the Tide even on an off day. It does take a certain amount of good things to happen each year, but I have also noticed that fortunate things seem to follow certain programs around more fully. (Don't read everything into that just being optimistic about our program as you are). If the new polls have Bama as a consistent top five in the rankings in the preseason I believe that's enough to legitimize the euphoric feeling I have about next year, even though the defense is young.
You need an intervention. Now your predicting the future of what Saban is going to do after 2 good seasons. I guess Saban has no track record of screwing programs.
It's like your in the locker room with him........other wise you would be just guessing/assuming things. Like all of us about our program. We also assumed $aban was going now where and his players loved him. Not so much. :tigereye:
Coach Saban can go when he wants. This day and age of disloyalty I couldn't say. I was addressing player burnout not his discontent or lack there of.
No guarantees in life, sorry. When I hear any person giving one I normally just put them under the idiot category.
I think a lot of posters here are getting the distinct impression that you, and Bama fans in general, feel as though you have surpassed the elite, when in actually, you've really just finally been invited to the party. Enjoy your stay at the big kids table because the too-big-for-your-britches table is a lateral move, at best.
OK........well you are now saying what I have been saying. Wow its like trying to talk to a psychotic.
I very seldom speak in extreme. I don't come over here to bleed anyone. The only difference between rival fans to me is the color of their jersey. In a forum we are not having usual conversation. People are experts at reading faces and even the tones in our voice often say what we really mean, all that is missing here.Give and take gets hard. There are plenty of instances in this forum when half the group doesn't get the other half. Everyone just keeps trying to qualify their point of view. Overall, I would say everybody here likes football, so we'll just have to put up with the rest.
