I love how all the bandwagon Bama fans come out from underneath their rocks when they finally have a decent program again, get your silly shots in while you can, cause your run is already over. Besides shouldn’t you be off fighting with Longhorn fans about your lucky win & "what if" scenario in Pasadena. Let me guess “Wins a Win” Or should we discuss the "What If" scenario that took place in Tuscaloosa this year when LSU had you by balls with 10:00 minutes left before losing 3 CRITICAL PLAYERS! Not to mention the home town love shown by the officials! Nah, Lets not. As a true LSU fan, Its all good bro. See you in Death Valley Next Season Buddy!
Win. bama fans, despite their persistent delusions, will learn soon enough what every other top program has come to terms with over the past decade: there is simply too much parity in the NCAA (not to mention the SEC) for true dynasties to exist anymore. Every team that enjoys such a meteoric rise to the top appears, on the surface, to be unstoppable for the foreseeable future. But they all get brought back down to earth soon enough. It happened to us, to USC, Ohio St., Texas, Florida, etc. I realize that bama thinks they're the exception to the rule(s), but we know better. I think that they're still somewhat paralyzed by their own history. They had their big run back when the parity was 1/1000th of what it is now. In their heyday, their program could just keep getting better and better at everyone elses expense. Nowadays, there is so much more money, talent, competition, exposure and resources involved that one program becoming really strong only pushes the competitors to get that much stronger. Look at what happened in the PAC-10. USC dominated a much less competitive conference for a few years and then suddenly dropped to the middle of the pack. Now they're stuck with Kiffen (hehe). They didn't just suddenly start to suck; the other programs in the conference just got that much better. No conference is immune.
Exactly. Bama's just returned from wandering in the football wasteland and found the oasis. Now they think they own it. They want to own it. But there's a bunch of thirsty folks beyond that first dune and they all smell water.
