I don't think Miller would be promised the starters job, but come on, 2-time conference MVP and heisman trophy candidate against what we saw this year at QB? There shouldn't be much competition...on a level playing field. I say that because we know how CLM is with favorites.
Any more news on EG coming here? I really hope that doesn't happen. He's a turnover machine and seems to make boneheaded moves. I'd prefer Braxton. But what is the problem with LSU getting a good QB. Whoever is scouting for LSU QB's should be fired. We don't need a dual threat QB. Just recruit a pro style passer. You run a pro-style offense with a big run game. Get a passing QB. It boggles my mind that we can't get a QB with some smarts and passing ability.
This may have been mentioned elsewhere in the thread - I admit I haven't read the whole thing - but what if it was Braxton Miller instead of Golson? Would you still hope it didn't happen? Wouldn't matter anyway. Miles would force him into a pro style, drop back offense instead of designing plays around his athleticism.
Im shocked that everyone wouldnt be excited about the prospect of Golston or Miller transferring to LSU. After what I saw this year, i'd rather have my mother QBing next season.
Miller sure, I will believe it when I see it. Golson, meh, he is a turn over machine the later part of this year. Very careless with the ball and that just won't fly for LEM.
