Don't believe that for a second. Any coach worth a dime isn't going to promise either one of them the starting position.
If Miller or Goldson only have 1 year to play, do you think for a second they are going to even consider any place where they have to "compete" for the job? Hell naw, they are going to be gifted the starting gig before they ever ink the deal. Stupid not to.
What, do you think they have a contract? No matter what they are told, nor matter what they expect, and no matter what they imagine, . . . if they show up out of shape, can't learn a playbook quickly, and can't hit a bull in the butt with a bass fiddle, they won't be starting.

Bolden was a starter at one time at PSU just like Golston and Braxton. No transfer or recruit is ever going to be promised a starting job. What they do is look for a better opportunity than the one they now have.
AND Since you brought that up, if I'm not mistaken, he actually got PSU across the 50 against the gumps, perhaps even scored. More than I can say for "he who shall not ever be mentioned again by me on this board" Figures Les would have fucked that up too!
Threw three INT's in the two games, no TD's...but did lead PSU to a touchdown in garbage time in 2011.
