the technique looks absolutely terrible. its either that or lack of discipline; or both.

I assume its a combination of both and cannot be corrected anytime soon. Maybe mended but this thing needs an overhaul.

If that's the case, that's pretty sad a couple of DCs could ruin good/promising players in such quick order.

Which is strange. Didn't the same guys teach technique to the individual positions last year? Bo didn't do that, so i am wondering why the break down in fundamentals.

Late play call confusion is understandable but the rest is a head scratcher. How much is the coaches and how much is the players?

Those players were recruited by this staff and have been coached by them three years. We have signed the same number as Georgia, Florida, and Alabama so youth can not be used as an excuse.

Sure turnonvers are an issue. The lack of turnovers by our defense has been noticable as well.

Every team that has put up big numbers on our offense has done so primarily with big plays due to our mistakes.

I'm not saying that the Co-DC's have not underperformed - they have, but I believe that they are capable of turning it around. If we limit our mistakes, we're a very good defense. Can they make it happen? Let's hope so.

I'm not seeing a real lack of technique - except Coleman not wrapping up & Jai constantly stumbling over his own feet.

We are beating up on the secondary, but the linebacking is not playing that well either. BTW, is Beckwith hurt again?

Beckwith has not been completely healthy since he was a sophomore. Poor kid has had some tough times and just plays through it. Gonna cost him so much $ in the draft too.

Yea, I felt he was a possible fringe 1st rounder with a strong injury-free season but he's appeared too injury prone to be a first day pick now.

No doubt, Beckwith has probably fallen on the 2nd day and possibly 6th or 7th round. He has had a terrible year having absolutely no impact on D. That's one of our biggest problems is we needed him to lead this defense. It's been quite the opposite.
