They give a lot of love to LSU recruits - 9 players in the top 150
But Montrell Conner is ranked ahead of McFarland and Davenport at 44, 49 and 54 respectively, really?!?!?!

Look whos doing the list, you have to take that into full consideration. If McFarland and Davenport havent signed up to play in the Under Armor game, what use does ESPN have with them. Also, ESPN is just really getting their feet wet in this evaluation business and thats what they see it as a business.

Just my opinion take it for what its work.

ESPN only uses game films to evaluate the prospects. They see less live games than Rivals or Scout and most importantly they do not use camps to show recent progress and see the prospects go up against the top players around the country.

Good example is Mike Ford who is ranked #139 or so because they do not have much film to go by. He was injured a majority of the last 2 years.
