Also says he and Denard Robinson are leading candidates for Heisman.

The kid can't do it... His dehydration problems are too much of an issue.

I guess they mean at Quarterback since that is really this team's only major deficiency.

This team is like a sunny day with an approaching hurricane. We're 4-0 but there is real trouble on the horizon.

Oh no... leave PP right where he is. He is doing a fine job right there.

I agree I believe this defense and the special teams are our shot this year if coach Miles sticks with what we got.

With the number of qualtiy defensive backs available, if I were OC, I would have Peterson rest a defensive series and then run the wild tiger or what ever we call it on the next offensive possession. IMO, he could be as effective running it as any other back in the country. It could be the difference in a win or loss in a big game vs teams like Alabama and Florida.

i'm starting to think these ESPN guys are right. we probably wouldn't miss him too much on defense, and he's probably a better QB than JJ -- seriously. at least peterson has the confidence down. he'd probably ad lib and get it done. i promise it wouldn't be any worse.

Isn't that what Shep is for??? We can't even get that formation on the field.... much less bring in PP from D. That wouldn't see the field until November 2014.

Sorry, didn't see this thread but I was thinking since we are king of the option (with not much yardage, or a loss) why not use Sheppard as qb and Peterson as running back. Take him off of punt returns (they aren't going to kick to him again anyway and Randle is good)

Yes, everyone will know what is coming, but you know what - Sheppard can throw a 10 yard pass - that's all we have been converting anyway.
