Really hard to say, so many guys provided key clutch plays. Would have to go with DJ, by a slim margin.

well they do this every game. and in every sport too for their sponsors. theres a good chance no one is watching when the game is over outside of a few local fans of the teams.

this happened a couple times in omaha this year already. the very first game they gave it to the cal-st fullerton guy only to see the pigs ruin that decision.

but clearly the choice is hey dj.

although the cutting away immediately after each game, especially one like last nights, to go to sportscenter is ridiculous. they could delay it 5 minutes. the game was already 4 hours +. taking it away immediately kinda takes away from all the emotion you had invested. how about a couple post game interviews to capture the moment.

Only they're not cutting away from the game to go to commercial, they go straight to SC. And for a channel that replays SC ad infinitum every night and all morning, there is no reason you can't delay for 5 minutes to get in an interview after a thrill ride of a game.

no, im referring to the player of the game is sponsored by pontiac or whomever.

thats why they are forced to pick prematurely. so they get that brand name out there when everyone is still tuned in.

ESPN didn't tell anyone they were going to do that. They just expected that you would keep watching even though the game and the broadcast were over. I walked out the room and did something else, came back and they were talking to CPM.

i think i'll pick DJ as well. Ott was fantastic and he held us in there so that offense could have the chance to score. DJ took his pitches, worked his bases, and made it home. My top 3: DJ, Ott, Mahtook.

I have to go with Ott.

Keeping the other team from scoring for 3 innings when the next run could be the one to win it is outstanding.
