Lots of heroes, but I go with DJ, mostly because I love those initials! :thumb:

His homer over center wall was unbelievable. He took a low pitch and powered it over center field wall. The clutch 2rbi double in the 9th is epic worthy.

After the article about his dad dying 15 years ago, I was very happy for Mikie to get the game winning rbi. When he pointed to the sky, brought tears to my eyes. His face during that at-bat was saying this to me: "I will NOT strike out. I WILL hit the freakin ball!". Hats off to you Mikie Mahtook!

Because if ESPN doesn't cut away to SportsCenter within 15 seconds of the game's conclusion (since you can only watch SC exactly once and only once on the ESPN family in a 24-hr period), the universe will implode.

you know i have to also give Jared Mitchell props, dude has come a long way and was demolishing the ball last night, that 2 run triple was huge, and it came off of austin wood, who is a semi sidearm lefty. he may not be able to catch a football or a punt, but dude is showing that he has potential to be a great baseball player.

i also want to see someone charge the mound when chad jones is pitching, could be the first time a pitcher leaves the mound to charge back at the hitter.

    This.

And this. A coworker and I were discussing this morning how unfortunate a decision it would be to charge the mound with Chad Jones on it. I would pay more to see that fight than I would for a UFC PPV.

That's not a fair comparison, Nolan has experience in the octagon while I don't think Jones has ever been charged.

I dunno, but thought surely that he was going to show us his Laron Landry impersonation when he was running to get the UT runner out at first last night.

Woulda been funny as hell had he done that and been like, "Whoops... my bad."
