The shortage of games and the caliber of those games are the reasons LSU is so far back in the computers. I'd expect a pretty respectable jump this weekend if we beat Florida. I'm not worried in the slightest about our computer ranking at this stage.

Rich Tellshow (who is easily the most accurate of the BCS prognosticators) has LSU's BCS average good enough for 5th place right now.
This is a great point. Doesn't sound like a big difference, but that equates to team playing 50 percent more games. Just looking at the Colley Matrix, if you project LSU beating Florida and USCe and go to 6-0 like everyone else at the top of this computer ranking, LSU would be a solid #4 in the poll just behind Mizzou for 3rd, rather than 15th. Listen to red, he knows what he speaks of.
He may be good (Tellshow), but I put my faith in our own islstl! (What does that mean, anyway? (islstl) I've always been curious.)
