Maybe they should setup on the levee so when we roll out of TS with a win over his beloved NS, Corso won't have far to jump.
It's been there before. Just sayin'. The set they used at Auburn is easily small enough to fit on the PMAC. The only problem with the PMAC is that the TAF "party" thing before the game cannot happen. Another thing that LSU would have to sacrifice. Edit: If they were going to do it inside the T&F stadium, I would rather it be inside the old Box facing the Intimidator.
Yeah, I hadn't thought about how their set has expanded over the past couple of years, with the addition of the mini football field.
The first time that Gameday went on the road was November 1996, when Shawn Alexander (and Bama) killed us. That's one that I know of.
It would be a good omen on 2 fronts if they do. 1st, it would mean that the ROTC gets to have the PG, which is the right thing to do; so hopefully that will give us some good karma. 2nd, it would mean GD would be in the same location they were in the last time we beat the No.1 team in the nation in BR (FU in '97). :thumb:
I know we lost at least once in the 90's because our fans are the reason they have a clear back screen now. It protects the hosts from projectiles hurled by the crowd.
Didn't Corso get caught on the wrong end of a golf ball that year? I fly down from Seattle every year for a game and this year this is the one. I'm bringing a couple friends who are Washington fans to show them that football isn't about taking naps and talking about environmental issues. Can someone elaborate on the rules/restrictions for attending College Gameday? I'm usually too hungover to worry about it but this might be the year. I couldn't find anything on their site.
If you want to get in the "inner circle" they let around 100, I think. I was told to get there around 3 or 4 a.m. if that was a goal. Other than that, anyone can attend. It's on the Parade Grounds and very wide-open. Hopefully no soccer games this year. lol.
