When we're whiffing so often looking for the home-run, I say we need to focus more on sustaining drives, particularly because that's been a weakness (see last year). Not every defense we play will be missing the majority of their defensive starters and the opportunity for home-runs won't be as prevalent when we get to the teeth of our SEC schedule.
This is funny. Here we have your post. Elsewhere, we have people complaining because, with a 20 point lead, Miles "took his foot off the gas" by trying to run the ball and sustain drives. IMO, you need to find what's working...and do that. But yes, if you're up by three TDs, you need to be able to run the ball and eat clock. Just gotta find a guy that ain't gonna lay it on the carpet.
