wow, 6 players from Alabama. I wonder what Alabama fans thinks about Paul "Bear" Bryant's assertion that you'll lose one game for each freshman you're forced to start?

BTW, Jevan Snead is the top player on that list, by far.

Thats actually pretty impressive. Certainly implies that we are reloading, not rebuilding.

This bama fan agrees. It is very likely we lose six games. Playing true freshman can be a dangerous thing. But the games still have to be played.

But the ultimate payoff is 4 year starters. Barring early exits.

Early sacrifices for future gains I guess is the approach. But in the case of our LB situation we don't have a choice. We just about have to play them. :nope:

Six games? The guys at Tidefans are a bit more optimistic than that aren't they?

Personally I don't think we'll lose six games but it is likely. We are going to be playing a lot of true freshmen and that comes with a big bag of surprises both good and bad. Rolando McClain had his good games and bad games last season as TF but when he looked good he looked damn good. But when he looked bad.......yeah. :dis:

true 'dat .... but McClain should have a breakout season in '08, and I'd assume this year's crop of Freshmen should be much improved for next season.
