I watched the replay on Cox Sports Television Sunday night. I understand that it is geared towards the LSU fanbase, but their coverage is far superior to ESPN's coverage. Here is why I personally prefer it:
    • No cameras were bouncing up and down like they were mounted on the front of a boat (that was making me sea sick)
    • They showed ALL the plays from snap to tackle (not just the end of Tollivers TD run; with no replay before commercial break & several other times they cut to the game and a running back would have the ball and be running)
    • No mispronounced names
    • Didn't have to listen to all the mancrush commentary about Locker & Sarkisian
    • They showed A LOT of the LSU sideline (after Washington's first possession, Chavis had the defense sitting on the bench with his finger in everyone's face and YELLING at them like a drill sargent. Also showed Russell Shepard on the sideline after Jefferson took a big hit)
    • Didn't have to listen the that lame Kenny Chesney song a million times (it is worse than the one they jam down your throat for the College World Series)
These are just some of the many reason I prefer watching CST replays. I wish we could watch it live on CST, but with the television contracts it is only a dream of mine.

I invite everyone to tune in to CST Wednesday night to experience the difference.

Thanks for the heads-up on the replay. I always record LSU football games on my computer, and usually the first time around is sufficient. But given the poor production quality of the ESPN broadcast I will definitely record the replay. Rollins is a decent play-by-play guy and Bowser knows as much about football as any of ESPN's analysts, so it'll be a good watch.

I also recorded Hawthorne's radio commentary. I may overdub the ESPN audio too for good measure.

To me, Rollins starts getting aggravating with his catchphrases and nicknames, though. Otherwise, I do enjoy the replays.

Yeah, Rollins leaves a lot to be desired. But he'd run circles around that performance by Davie/Jones the other night. That was atrocious. Greg Bowser, on the other hand, is worth the price of admission alone. I learn a lot from him whenever I watch the Cox replays. That guy is really good.

LOL at the camera mounted on a boat comment. I was asking during the game if one of the Washington fans was manning the camera or something. ESPN should be ashamed of that entire broadcast. The Toliver TD was inexcusable. Not only did they not show the first part of the play, but the replay looked like it was shot from Google Earth or the Space Needle. Still don't know exactly what happened.

Anyone that thinks Chavis is not the real deal.... I beg you to watch the Cox Sports Television replay tonight and see how he handles the defense when they come off the field after Washington's opening drive of the game. (Something that was NOT shown on ESPN).
