So I'm listening to Buddy Songy yesterday and he's talking about a segment that ESPN came down and did and was asking if the listeners liked it or thought it was embarrassing. Did anyone see this segment? Is there a link to it?
Are we talking about on Gameday last week when they starting talking about LSU and then everybody on the set started talking all at the same time and the production crew starting coming on stage making adjustments to the set and it was a confusing mess? I thought it was sorta clever, actually.
Here is one of the pieces...not the skit one though...still looking [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUhyY1H6KoQ]YouTube - ESPN Gameday Les Miles Feature: Clock Management[/ame]
Yes...thats the one...clever yes but also embarrassing. Never seen the ESPN crew diss a program that bad before. I got over it pretty quick though
"pretty" is an understatement. It was horrible. First everyone on the set started talking at the same time, then they got a flag thrown on them. Then they went to Rick Beucher i think, not real sure who it was, to a kindergarten in Baton Rouge where they were learning about time. Then they went to a clock maker in Baton Rouge so the clock maker could give Les Miles some advice. It was totally embarrassing. But ya know what, WHO'S 6-0 BITCHES!!!!!! I'm trying to find a video link...
But we're easy pickins you have to admit. They couldn't possibly pass that up. Clean up the clock management mess and we'll never see that again.
Sure, they could have passed that up. Their job is to tell me about the upcoming games, not to do a SNL style skit poking fun at a program.
I'm waiting on the segment where unscrupulous sports agents are sitting outside USC's campus and handing out cash, cars and houses. But we know we will never see that...clock managament is WAY more vital to a football program than honesty and integrity.
Has anyone found a link to a clip of that skit…I find it hard to believe, and rather suspicious, that this skit is not on the internet.
