UVerse has everything, my mom has UVerse in D/FW and i love it, only problem is they have 5 tv's and there is a constant battle when everyone is trying to watch at the same time.
the last time i was there, my sister was trying to put her kids to sleep and i was trying to watch something in HD, and for 30 minutes we battled doing the Interrupt a TV thing over and over and over. However, i love UVerse, it has so many channels, and so many HD channels.
The Dish picture quality for ESPNU standard definition sucks ballz. My wife kept commenting on how bad the picture was. A large flat screen really magnifies a crappy picture but it seemed worse then normal. If it wasnt for LSU there was no way I could have watched a game on that channel last Saturday night. Dish and Direct need to bring on the HD for ESPNU.
dont worry dude, it sucks period in standard def, its not just dish, i dont have dish i have cable, and espnU sucks balls. its like watching the game through a foggy window. it was almost unwatchable. at times i thought about just flipping to the ohio state usc game, and just turning the radio on.
Nothing can top the terrible quality of the ESPN Gameplan package. I get it every single year & kick myself for doing it every time. Even when they are rebroadcasting games that are in HD, they compress them down to the worst possible quality.
ESPNU on DirecTV was horrible. Not only was it standard definition, but they had cranked the digital compression WAY up and the picture was fuzzy and blocky.
