On College Football Final, they slammed the fanbase for leaving early. Kinda embarrassing to hear actually. I think it just further shows that the opinion of others differs GREATLY from our own. LSU fans say, "We're better than this! I'm leaving!" and claim STUPID sh*t like: "the future for LSU is dark" or "We lost 3 games! Fire EVERYONE!" Nation thinks: "They are 2nd behind USC for most wins this decade." (at least heading into the season) and "They are the only 2-time BCS champ". and "what a bunch of spoiled brats" LSU fans say, "our QB sucks" NFL says, "He's our #1 pick" WE ARE a group of spoiled and arrogant fans.... :dis:
The defensive coordinators DO need to get fired. But I never shut off the radio, no matter how depressing it was, and I've never stopped watching LSU on TV, and I've never left TS early (been a while since I've been there).
F ESPN. They're just pissed off that we somehow pulled it out. Let them go sit out in a cold-azz stadium while their team is playing Troy (getting killed and playing emotionless). The ones who stayed were louder than all these other stadiums with their 85,000 people sitting on their hands anyway. Yeah, we always quit on our team. Please, we even put lots of people in the stands in the late 80s and early 90s when we were putrid. Yes, we are somewhat spoiled these days. But people would have been hitting the exits at half even if we had been beating Troy. Why? Because no one gives a $hit about Troy. And I think Troy has the potential to be a serious program one day soon and have been impressed with their overall program for a while. They almost beat us with Saban the year after our other BCS Title. Many thought we should have lost. They probably deserved to win the game tonight and we lucked out somehow. But right now, no one cares about them.

That LA Tech last year year was my first as an LSU grad. Hadn't been there sin '03, no way I was leaving early, especially since OSU had lost that day adn we were about to be #1. Shame that game wasn't sold out.
a lot of people left early. I think the weather had a lot to do with it. I don't think it would have been the way it was had it not been freezing cold. A lot of people were woefully underdressed (myself included). I rode it out. But others didn't. And had I been wearing what they were wearing and LSU was down 28, I might have hit the bricks, too. Not justifying the behavior. Just giving a little more to the story.
Absolutely accurate. They are not talking about you. it was cold in the stadium and the team played poorly. The fans that stayed(and it was hard)were rewarded. No, they do not. They helped get us to the BCSCG last year. They were partially right. No, they did not. LSU deserved it because they had more talent and ultimately showed heart. I do not feel sorry for teams that are inferior to us and lose. People leave early for all sorts of reasons. The ones that did tonight, will no doubt regret it. I could not bring myself to leave, despite all evidence that we would lose badly at half time. I am happy that I had a flask of whiskey and stayed.
