I would rather them feel like they had something to prove and have a chip on there shoulder when they got to the tournament. Instead of maybe getting into the top 20 by beating the so called average SEC teams that happens to show up on the rest of our schedule and feeling over confident then getting paired up with a much tougher opponent in the tournament and get the crap kicked out of them on national TV. People have been doubting them in most games this year and they have responded pretty well so far so just let the media keep kicking dirt on them, they will have something for them come late march
IMO that was always about the 06-07 season, not what happened last year. No school wants to be known as the one that fires its coach the year after a FF. After O'Keefe was shown the door Brady lost the last piece of political support he had and the writing was on the wall.
He may have still been here with healthy players but I think Johnson is a better coach. As far as media outlits...once we are in the top 25 you will hear more about us.

LSU still has to beat Ole Miss tomorrow, without Bo in the lineup. I really don't want to put the cart ahead of the horse on this.
Not to worry too much. There's some season left and basketball isn't like football. You get no respect in football and you have no shot at the championship game. "the big dance" is another story altogether. if you get invited and you're peaking you have a chance at the championship. those losses to a&m and utah would seem like long ago memories.:tigereye:
