ESPN has our recruiting class at #16?!? How can they have us so far down when most other recruiting services have us at least in the top 10? Doesn't make much sense to me.
Theyve been so busy trying to figure out a way to give USC a NC trophy that they havnt updated their rankings in 3 months.
I don't listen to ESPN on any recruiting. Rivals has a full team of people for the scouting and a people at every school doing work. ESPN just has like, maybe, a few people? I'll trust Rivals first...
ESPN's (and most other sites) get their rankings from Scout.com, which has almost all of LSU's prospects ranked below what Rivals has them at, and also has 3 of LSU's commits as non-commit, soft verbals...
The great thing about recruiting rankings is they are the most meaningless thing ever. If our coaches did a better job of scouting people than scout.com did, then where they rank us means nothing. Having No. 1 recruiting classes is fun, but it's not the end of the world if one recruiting service doesn't like our class.
