Re: ESPN Around the Horn... Yeap that would make sense if there wasn't 4 undefeated teams at this point in the season. If you have 1 undefeated team and a 1-loss SEC teams, then there shouldnt be any fear, but who knows with the BCS with 4 undefeated teams. Really 3, throw out the loser of the SECCG.
Re: ESPN Around the Horn... I agree, i don't think its a conspiracy, but it doesn't help the SEC's case when their home office is in Birmingham. SEC officials are a bunch of fat no talent ass clowns, who can't see, couldn't find their way out of a box, have probably been inbred somewhere along the line, and get paid crap. You get what you pay for. And until the SEC is willing to fork out the dough, its going to continue to be crap with that douche Rogers Redding saying this has been a great year for officiating in the SEC. That guy needs to be put down immediately for that comment. The SEC should get the best of the best, hell even try to get some NFL officials. The SEC officials should be forced to go to class after class, and test every week. But no we have these yahoo's who aren't good enough to flop burgers, and they fold to the home crowd. They are pansies and i think are more persuaded by home fans than they are by the SEC office.
Re: ESPN Around the Horn... I accept that you feel that way. You might want to accept that everyone, with the exception of bama fans, feels differently.
Re: ESPN Around the Horn... I understand, I'm just saying if ever a bad officiating changed the outcome of the game, that was it, and to say this directly changed the outcome of our game would be incorrect. And please don't think I am not upset with the officiating. I just learned a long time ago not to let it eat me up and I also look at the game as a whole. I can think of three different times, off the top of my head, we shot ourselves in the foot when the officiating was correct during the play. 5 men in the backfield at the snap on a 20+ yard pass False start on a 20+ yard pass Scott dropped a pass that would have probably been for 20+ yards.
Re: ESPN Around the Horn... Oh ya, I believe that. Changing someones mind is hard enough. Changing how someone Feels, that's over my head.
Re: ESPN Around the Horn... Exclude me in that. There is absolutely nothing that Bama has that I look to with envy, and I mean that. Yes, I realize they have a few more titles than we do and more wins but all that is ancient history and means very little to me. In modern day football they have nothing that I envy. In fact, in the modern day era I'd argue that it is Bama that is looking up to what LSU has accomplished. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean, I don't look at Bama in any way other than a hated SEC West foe. And oh by the way Bama didn't become our biggest rival till about last year. Auburn had that title before they took that nose dive.
Re: ESPN Around the Horn... Didnt LSU get a call at UGA? Tigers were undefeated at the time. Once LSU lost to UF it became a 2 team race to ATL. SEC refs will make sure UF and Bama dont lose.
