There is a reporting piece this morning on Lane Kiffen on Outside The Lines on ESPN. A clip shows his boasting about turning in UM for the so called "recruiting violation" then shows him saying "everything we do is by design". This should be good seeing this idiot go on national TV and talk about all of his gafs being "by design". I am tivo'ing it so I can watch French Open final first.

At the end of the piece, they said he may have commited another recruiting violation by letting them film the interaction b/t him and the recruit he was meeting with. Whew, this guy is a genius. He showed off his wits when he explains to the reporter that he never told a recruit that he would be pumping gas if he did not sign with Tenn b/c "no one pumps gas anymore, it is all self-serve, even I am smart enough to know that." Unbelievable. Only in mountain-gump territory could he get away with that. He is a prime example why most head coaches don't get a gig until they are in their 40s.
The more Kiffen's idiocy unfolds, the harder I laugh at Janet Jackson for being involved in that little scheme. Dude didn't realize how bad he was screwing himself.

The whole interview Kiffin is contradicting himself. He said that he doesn't talk about other programs, but that Urban Meyer is a cheat when it comes to recruiting. It just amazes me that he's so stupid.
exactly what i was thinking. in fact, i used to think he was arrogant, but now i think he comes across as arrogant b/c he just simply is dumb and doesn't know any better.
