ESPN-Michigan to announce Les Miles as Head Coach

On right now on college gameday Michigan to announce Les as head coach next week.

 

This is news how?

They said it last night too.

 

It's not official until ESPN says it.:hihi:

 

They did say that Miles will hire Jon Tenuta as DC. Was hoping he'd be a candidate for our DC next year.

 

So much for waiting until after the SECCG.....

Y'all smell the bullshyat I spoke of earlier in the week? Yesterday, we were told Michigan asked permission to speak to him. Yesterday (Friday)evening, there was going to be a meeting Monday. Today,(Saturday) it's announced that he's a going to accept.

I thought the meeting was Monday? The deals have BEEN done, the formalities, as I've referred to them since last week, are all that's left.

 

What Miles really meant was:

"We've been talking for a while now, and even though I have a great team now with a chance at a NC, I am going to dump 'em for Ann Arbor."

"See you guys on the flip side."

 

I suspect the formalities are 99.9% complete.

 

You don't have to have an official meeting to hire someone. Coaches have agents, who do the bulk of the negotiations. This is not surprising.

 

Can I get a Chinese Bandits from the band?... It's over, been over for awhile now.
