The issue here is not the flip, but the lack of integrity and gumption on the part of Kiel, showing up at ND the day he was scheduled to enroll. Lack of gumption = inability to lead effectively. Why the ruckus?
Because even though the loch les monster is right on this one, you just don't do it. His intentions, his reasoning, his context, whatever else all out the window now because it is public. Just more fuel to the fire that started on Jan 9th.
I understand Coach Miles's frustration and desire to vent. He's going to get bad press for a long time now. I expect LSU and Miles to get a whole lotta disrespect in the media next season. We'll see. Winning it all cures all.
The national media gets most of its trash on CLM from LSU fans. Who's embarrassing who? Who is ruining the program and making recruits think twice about coming to LSU? I watch, listen to, and read sports programing and don't get bombarded with anti-LSU hysteria until I come to an LSU forum. The internet will be the end of this program, not Les Miles. He shouldn't have said what he said, but if I had people recording my every comment with a cellphone, I'd have more embarrassing moments than Coach Miles and so would you.
I don't know. I kind of agree with LaSalle. It's so tough to get a straight answer from Miles, that when he does give one, he's criticized. Jeez.
This is true, take a knee, keep passing, etc. The kid better get ready, the first loss at ND, he'll hear a lot more than that.:thumb:
Couldn't disagree more. That comment he made at a private LSU function will have ZERO impact on recruiting. No one will even remember it a week from now. Or care.
