Too be honest i kinda like this. Everyone is dogging on this class and how we lost alot of kids. This is a FU from Les to the haters. Love it
It was at the bash, and the video they showed (its available on espn.com) appears to be shot by a fan; the audio is not so good. They definitely didn't get it from a local TV station.
And we all wonder why coaches never say anything. It's because of jackasses that send videos to television stations.
ha, Miles was a lot more soft core than the texts I got from my friends (F&#@ Kiel, etc) but yeah, Miles obviously wishes he hadn't said that in public, but behind closed doors I bet Miles is ticked at Kiel...not only did Kiel lead us on, drop us in at the worst time this year, etc...but even worse he cost us Patrick Miller...a quality OL that did want to come here.
Kiel's indecisiveness caused us to lose out on another recruit. F*ck him. It was a private gathering. Les wasn't in front of ESPN's cameras. You want to play big time college ball. Better get prepared for the lime light....good or bad. When you cause damage don't get upset when someone calls you out.
It was not like he got on tv to call out the kid. He was saying we play big boy football at LSU and if you are too timid to lead this team, move over and make room for those that can. In Tiger Stadium you go hard or go home.
well hell I am glad I skimmed the comments in the thread ... in your OP you made me think he did it on national tv, now youre saying that it was just a cell phone video someone sent in. maybe not a huge difference, maybe so... but please consider editing your OP to get the facts more clear for those people who just read the OP and ignore the follow up comments (i do this plenty, for ex)
Still doesn't sit well with me AT ALL. Les decides to get all honest in front of a bunch of tiger fans by ripping a kid. How about you get honest and shed some light on the biggest fuk up of your career Les. Nooooo that is in house stuff. Lets rip the 18 year old, not the old man making millions coaching football that had the biggest meltdown in the history of the program in the biggest game in the history of the program. That's what I would REALLY be interested in hearing. The truth. Something like this makes me never want to hear the les is a man of integrity bullshyt again. There is no way to spin that comment. Not a classy move. He used Kiel to gain favor with the crowd. He is a grown ass man. This was a horse shyt move by Les and I'm shocked and disappointed. Obviously reading this thread has pissed me off. It just doesn't sit well with me. JMO
