Agreed, the biggest chip of all is getting there, if we do that I LOVE our chances. The odds of winning out are tougher than the odds of getting left out of NC.....by a long shot.
Give me a break here, you must not have detected the sarcasm in my post. I included the final line: Confusing? Not at all. Is it right? Hell no.; to remove any doubt of the sarcasm of the way the system works and you still missed it. Trust me this is the way poll voters view LSU like it or not. They look for the simplest excuses to hate on LSU or give their favorites a pass, or in this case both. Do I think it sucks as you do? Why of course I do. Am I confused of why it happens or in denial that it does happen, as you seem to be? Nope.
Excuse me, let me say this is what many people throughout the country are saying and/or thinking about LSU. As far as I'm concerned those are wins and just as good as any other teams conference wins, no matter how we got them as long as they were fair, and both were.
Wow fours posts and already jumpy on people who responded to your thread, saying we are to confused to "understand" your sarcasm.... You will fit in great here. Note : I get it by the way I missed your sarcasm, fair enough.
Telling you all, I think this is doable. http://www.tigerforums.com/tigers-den/90925-control-your-own-destiny.html Just saying. I still got that feeling.
I am not gonna even worry about LSU winning an SEC Championship or a National Championship right now. As far as I know, our Tigers play Tulane on Saturday and that is all that matters right now.I would love to see us win another NC but right now I am proud as can be of the improvement LSU made this past week and look forward to seeing an even more improved LSU team take the field against Tulane on Saturday. Right now,(as always) I am simply Proud to be a LSU fan.
Jumping an undefeated Iowa from the Big 10. That's something I have not been able to commit to and I don't think will happen. But I tell you what, if LSU beats a #1 (AP) Bama and a #1 (all polls) Florida, then how do you not put them at #2? Ole Miss needs to continue to win leading up to that game vs LSU, so that it is perceived as a tough road SEC game.
